Install Dogventure on your phone
Add it to your home screen — full screen, own app icon, nothing to download.
Add to Home Screen
Dogventure installs straight from your browser. Once it's on your home screen it opens full screen with its own icon, just like an app from the store.
- Open walkdogventure.com in Safari (not Chrome or in-app browsers).
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow, at the bottom of Safari.
- Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add — the Dogventure icon appears on your home screen.
- Open it from that icon: full screen, no address bar.
- Open walkdogventure.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu.
- Choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm — it launches full screen from your app drawer.
Once installed, Dogventure keeps the screens you've already opened — your saved Dogventures, walk history and safety notes — available if you lose signal mid-walk. Building a brand-new route and loading fresh maps still needs a connection.
On iPhone you must use Safari and the Share menu — other iPhone browsers can't add Dogventure to your home screen, and offline access only works from the installed icon.
App Store / Play Store versions
There is no store-published Dogventure app yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Everything — routes, maps, walk mode and turn-by-turn handoff — works today in your mobile browser. Registering interest genuinely decides whether we build native apps and which platform comes first.
